Hi there, I've only just come across this Forum. For some reason I've never seen it on previous occasions I've done searches on Opel in Australia.
I run the OpelForum (Opel/Vauxhall/euroHoldens Enthusiasts Classic Register) in New Zealand. It was originally for the cars from 70s, 80s and 90s, but popular demand has led me to expand the range. We have been signing members across NZ, Australia and the rest of the world for the last 3 years. We have only about six Aussie members, so I was thinking that was just because there were not many Opels in Aus. I'm pleased to see now that I was mistaken!
We have cars back to late 1960s up to current cars, with some interesting models including a '72 Rekord coupe, '69 Commodore A coupe, '75 Opel Commodore B coupe, plus numerous Monzas and Senators. I know of the Brock Monza V8 in Aus and one other Monza, but not sure if you had Opel Senators over there too?
Personally, I used to own the Rekord coupe (recently sold to another member), the 1975 Commodore B coupe and a 1985 Monza GSE plus an Opel Zafira for my wife. Will post up pics in your Members Garage shortly.
