Researchers at Volkswagen have joined the growing list of teams working on autonomous vehicles. Now, as part of a demonstration project, they’ve converted a Passat to drive with minimal driver supervision.


I dunno about u guys, but id be a little weary seeing a "semi computer driven" vehicle coming towards me! :skep:

They've had cars for years that you don't have to drive. We call them taxis death traps.

oh? i though if you put cruise control on in an automatic it drives itself?

Scary stuff if not a novelty to think of now, but an eventuality in the future no doubt...
