Front bumper could change a tad but the rest is a major improvement on the older models, imo that is i just didnt like the big ass the older 1s have

Each to their own with car looks :)

IMHO all any Megane RS250 needs is a nicer looking set of wheels and it'll transform from an already very beatifully proportioned and looking car into a real ripper...

Regarding this updated model, if they're not available here then there are always excellent tuning solutions on the RS250 variant which will easily put it over the performance levels of the RS265 :)

"A hike in boost pressure from 2.0 to 2.5 bar"

I some how think they've got that messed up. Wouldn't imagine the 250 needed 2 bar to make it's power, let alone 2.5 bar for this one!

Agree...it's a typo

It's rated at 225kw / 420nm, so certainly wouldn't need anywhere near as much as 36psi to produce those numbers :)

It's now an even more certified performer, performance wise in its class you can't take anything away from it... :)

atmosphere (1bar) + boost pressure (1.5bar) = 2.5bar
For some reason manufacturers often quote boost levels this way, whilst the aftermarket dont :)

Only the wheels. Lets get rid of those eyesore. Baffles me sometimes how manufacturers bring out really OMGWTF wheels from time to time

Interesting, I've never noticed it that way before...

Totally agree, even the 2 RS250 variants OEM choices could've been alot nicer, IMHO the upper spec RS250 ones are even worse than the cheaper lower spec varints wheels...

Ah well easily fixed :)

I was thinking that as that's how MAP sensors are worked out, just never heard it being used in quoting actual boost above atmosphere.

yeah its odd and completely at odds from the aftermarket "boost level".
This link they have it for the VW twincharged 1.4 motor http://auto4stroke.blogspot.com/2009/04/tsi-twincharger-vws-engine.html
again. 2.5bar.

With the megane, those are the sort of power figures you would expect at 1.5bar, so makes sense!

Also agree with you guys, the rims are bloody awful!
