Are they're any specific AUS/NSW road rule restrictions on headlight globes?

I'm thinking of getting the the Osram Silverstar or Cool blue globes for my veccy, which one is better? I hate the yellow look and limited range my OE globes provide, but at the same time i don't want to be one of those dicky people on the road who blinds everyone else while driving at night!

basics are:
has to be white light (can have blue tinge but not full on blue)
globes should be adr compliant (wouldn't stress to much about this)
must not dazzle (i.e. hids in reflector headlights, incorrectly adjusted)

that about covers it.

Why can't you get the same or similar thing locally ? I'm sure those items are available here instead of having to pay more to source them O/S...

I ordered some Osram Night breakers from the UK
just waiting fro them to arrive.

They were AU$20 posted as opposed to $40-50 from RipCO

Bought some Philips Xtreme Vision from the UK.

Hoping to put them on tomorrow. See what happens!

(Oh, and they were definitely cheaper than Autobarn too, even with their 20% discount!)
