View Full Version : Victorian who resides in SE Qld...

Hi, I'm Melynda. I live in SE Qld with my husband, who is also on this forum. I drive a 2000 Astra G, 1.8L 5 door, 5 speed manual hatch. I must admit I don't know that much about cars, but I *do* like to drive. I'm most likely to be found in the spam thread than anywhere else, but I also tend to check out the Qld cruise threads.
My husband's name is James, but on here he's known as Bloodnok. He drives a 2002 Vectra B, 2.6L V6, 5 door 5 speed manual hatch. So we're pretty much an Opel family...
...oh, and in case you're curious, 'Wraecca' is Anglo-Saxon for 'outcast' or 'wanderer'...kinda appropriate, seeing as how I've lived up and down the Eastern Coast of Australia...

Hi Melynda - how hard was it to drop 90 IQ points when you moved up to QLD? ;)

True that - but after a recent week up in Noosa on holidays - both myself and my wife decided we just couldn't live up there.

Then again we'll probably die from a heart attack at 53 while QLDers live to 103....

I thought it had something to do with black magic as per your signature.... some sort of play on Wicca..

Yes, well I've lived up here on and off for about half my life...and I started school here too, so that helps...

Thing is, I hate the heat...I'm a cold-weather person, and I *love* the snow...so I move to Qld...WTF???

No, my signature is actually an excerpt from a bunch of rules given to a Spc Schwartz...there's 213 rules in total, and they're all brilliant...
