If I saw a Signum, I'd hide behind a bush and stalk the owner..... / Steal the car.

me too... its times like this i wish i was still in england haha. although if i was i couldnt afford insurance of a signum. id probably have a nova or a zlet corsa

... and a zlet corsa (declared) would probably be in the range of a signum. In Britain, a car and driver's capacity to cause damage (what is covered here under CTP) is most of the premium, particularly for young drivers.

chances are you could be spending $2000+/yr to insure a standard 1.2l corsa (or similar sized hatch from another manufacturer), 3rd party only. This would be significantly more than the car was purchased for. The only way to escape this kind of fee is to be female or older. (And no, driving without insurance is not an option).

This is why a lot of young men are not bothering to learn to drive until they are older.
