Nice pickup mate. Plenty of things you can do to the CDTi if you want to improve it as a daily too ;)

Thanks, yeap it's now become my daily as it was costing me at least $70 every 2 days in the Forester to get to work and back..

Was thinking about getting one of those greenboxes i have been reading about to improve it..

Lol, yeah, gotta love boxer economy :p
Go the CRD-T box. Much smoother. And if you have any questions feel free to ask :)

Yes Boxer fuel economy is just awesome..

Will be better just spending that $70 every 4-5 days instead.. :D

Thanks for the advise, will look into the CRD-T box :)

You should get awesome economy on that sort of a run every day. We just got a pump measured 6l/100km compared to normal a bit over 7 from driving to the hunter valley and back on the second half of the tank.

You would give the GT a good run for it's money before a CRD-T. After, you won't want to drive it on the weekend... :-)

I think at the moment, the GT would win verse stock Astra, GT is running 155ks at the wheels, and goes well, but judging what i have read about the CRD-T, i really think it's going to be the Astra that kicks the GT..

Fozzy will still be quicker, but the astra will use 1/3rd the fuel to do it!
