Can anyone suggest a good, cheapish interstate car transport company? Have found an SRiT at a reasonable price in WA. Cheapest I have found so far to get it to Sydney is a bit over $800.
Any suggestions appreciated.

Best price I could get Melb to Brisbane was 1200 so 800 is pretty good :)

ego gave me 715 depot(forrestfield WA) to depot(enfield). car being estimate 'bulky large package' 140cm wide x 110cm tall x 240cm long x 1200kg
my calcs are probs quite wrong but... they probs do a special price for cars but as its easier to move them around
so tempted to drive it over for ya but ahah :P would love to cross aus

Cheers for the advice. Never really thought about flying over and driving back, could be a good Easter activity, I get an extra 2 days off then as well which would make it worth it.
I found another company - carcarrying.com.au, $756 depot to depot, but I guess you gotta be a bit weary about the cheap ones.
Ha ha guy your deal is tempting, but I might pass :)
I'm in NZ ATM getting hitched, going to organize a pre purchase inspection when I'm back in Aus, if it hasn't been sold by then!

Happy to look over the car for you also.
I am sure Shay would be happy to test it on a Motorkhana circuit somewhere too !
Is it at a dealers yard ?

Indian Pacific? Could be the go! read a few bad reviews about cars transported with them though, however, it's always the bad ones you hear about I guess. Cheers for the help ay btw. I guess comprehensive insurance wouldn't cover the transport though ay.
