Excellent stuff. :)

I wonder if my local dealer has checked out this site. It's hard not to see the stickers on my car and it's been in for warranty work a few times lately.

Some at Holden in Perth (dealers and Head office) know about us. They are surprised/impressed at the accuracy and quality of a lot of the content here (especially release date info, posted vehicle specs, product rumours and new offerings).

I was there the other day to have a look.

On saturday mornings they have a technical representative from Holden to answer any questions. Also I think they have some sort of sponsorship deal as well because I noticed Holden Banners on the site.

I still think that Holden are behind the pace a little. Yamaha pay a marketing company to run "Tribe" (Yamaha owners club) these people organise events etc.

Hahah sorry I thought that was funny.

No one has said anything because I don't think they care...but some people think that with the badges its not a Holden, "oh so you've got one of those Opels? When did you import that?"

i got a quote from a panel beater the other day for colour coding....

he said "i have never seen one of these b4.... is it an import?"

i said "nah its just a Holden Barina with the original badges on it"

him "ohh... looks totally different to any barina i have ever seen. we had a 5 door barina in here the other week, looked nothing like this"

i never thought that badges changed the car into something different...

Cool Rus, and if they say "is it a small club?" Just reply "yeah, we've only got 700+ member nation wide....but we're getting there!"
