You saw my jizz worthy Green VXR post :p

19" VXR rims in silver would look better than black IMO. But thats my taste. Although maybe an athracite rim may look good?

Just buy some Eibachs already and be done with it. Turn the cruise ship of a car into a small liner.

Or buy some cheap 19" snowies that every man and his dog are selling on Vectra-c.com Some excellent condition rims for a real good price at the moment.

nah i havnt brent haha. forget the chromies. my brother had them on his hilux and hes selling them haha.

yeah i saw the green vxr and jizzed.... i meen i saw your ''jizz worthy vxr'' haha

i couldnt find any full side pics of anthracite vxr's and i would love snowies in anthracite but iv heard a lot of horror stories about them being very poor quality and aparantly they always crack and buckle very easily

If you can get me a better picture of the vectra on a slight angle (like most shots you see of cars) at least 1024pixels wide, then i'll probably have a crack.

Not my cuppa, but if you like them go for it!

Also with the lowering, will you go for coilovers? Or just springs? I'd recommend coilovers as you get a much better all round drop on the C's.

gmonkey

after driving with coilovers id recommend going with springs :P ahahha soooo uncomfy!!!!

adam_92
9th March 2011, 09:27 PM
Probably start with springs then get some decent shocks when money allows. Probably b8s or similar

yeah but the front of the C's never sits low enough with springs. :(

adam_92
9th March 2011, 09:55 PM
nah it doesnt. the back of mine sits nicely on stock springs i think but lower is always better but the front always looks too high. would shocks and springs on the rear and coilovers on the front work or would it make it unsable with the front and rear not being matched?

Just get the front sprins compressed to sit where u like, those whhels look hot on the veccy!

adam_92
9th March 2011, 10:03 PM

9th March 2011, 10:05 PM

adam_92
9th March 2011, 10:17 PM

ok so smart send couriers are the cheapest by a mile. redone the quote with insurance for $850 and it was $70 for 2-3 business days. unreal how they are soooo cheap compared to the rest. the next cheapest was mcafferties or whatever they are called which was $230

adam_92
9th March 2011, 11:17 PM
dont worry chris... there wont be any bans... well maybe bans for uploading too many pics haha

pete i havnt got a clue yet. iv got toyo teos on at the minute and they are pretty good tyres but they havnt lasted 2 minutes. iv got about 8 months and around 15000kms out of them so far with about 1.5-2mm left. i think i might try some kumho ku31's they always seem to get good reviews so who knows haha

poita
9th March 2011, 11:18 PM
not long put toyo teos on the mazda, hope they last longer than that for 200 a corner

adam_92
9th March 2011, 11:23 PM
yeah i paid 205 a corner. i dont know if its me but they havnt lasted long at all. i originally thought it may have been my driving but even the rears have worn really quickly and they dont do jack shit in regards to driving and steering

ChrisMaz
10th March 2011, 03:23 AM
KU31's. Best tyres I've ever had. Still got them on the 17's with plenty of rubber left after 25,000km
