Looks like it's aimed more as a mainstream Golf GTi competitor.

Its closer to a Mazda 3 or seat Leon cupra from the side if anything

looks good from the rear and side, not sure on the front.
Plus aren't those indicators too low to be practical? the car in front will never be able to see them.

I would've thought their GSI would have been a 2 door.. Looks good from the back definately..

it looks mazda 3ish but i like the overall look of the car. still prefer a 2 door though

looks really good I reckon - and longer than the Golf.
I hope they bring out a 5 door turbo model to compete with the GTI - one thing that limited the Astra I reckon was that you could only get it in 2 door as an SRiT.

No variant of the Golf has ever turned me on, this new AJ has me totally switched on by comparison :)
