This morning I bought TWO O-Rings from Holden for $5.80 each. When I got home, I found out they went missing from my pocket. It's like what hell!

So where can I buy the O-Ring at "affordable" price?Cheers!

And I got a quote from an independent mechanic for the labour of changing rear axle discs and pads, $130 cash job, what do you think?

Thanks!

Why you buy two for?

$130 sounds reasonable

go to a seal and bearing place such as cbc. most places like that are a $10 minimum spend though. you will need to take a sample o ring with you though.

The o rings should last more than 1 oil change.

Mine lasted over 10 oil changes. I changed it when I changed my sump plug.

About $5 for the sump plug w washer from Autovaux.

I doubt they even change it when they charge you for it, unless it is worn.

My old mechanic never changed it but never charged for it.

The sump plug is an M14x1.5 so any will fit. I had one from a Honda DC2 type R and now one meant for something else.

If you need an o-ring go to Supercheap and buy one from there. They sell them in plastic hanger packs and you'll get 5 to 10 for $5.
