Yep, I've got the sportline fit (50mm on front, 30mm back) with Turbo rims (R17/215/45), no issues what so ever.

May scrub a little under hard angled cornering, mines lowered 5 CM but has 18's so you could be safe :D

you need to remember offset of the wheel is a big factor and also the conditions of your shocks.

so balker what springs and shocks you run?

Stock shocks with 100,000km on them. Springs are eibach sportline kit - LINK (http://www.eibachdirect.com/p/524295/sportline.html). Rims are stock turbo, tyres are Kumho KU31 R17/215/45.

Changed two sets of wheels on my old astra G, one 215/40/17 and 215/35/18. Springs are Pedders 30mm front/rear. Daily driving fine except a little rub when hard cornering or sudden drop in road level when travelling at say....80km/h and above. Otherwise fine.

thinking about putting the bilstein B8 sprint shocks in with the eibach pro kit or sport line

That will be a great setup!

+1 and i would recommend the sportlines as long as you can get used to going over steep inclines on a heavy angle.

must of misread it, just want to drop it by 30mm - must be the pro kit then

you did mention sportlines.
Just remember your already lowered around 15mm all round plus some if your springs have started to sag.
Sportlines dropped the front of my car 30mm and the rear end stayed much the same (less than 5mm)

Eibach Pro kit will drop a G by about 30mm all around...

Remember as stated above with wheels, the offset or ET is the most critical number to look out for, get that right and you wont have any scrubbing issues to worry about !

The stock ET for a G is +49mm, so stay as close as possible to that number if you go for aftermarket rims, if you dip below +40mm you will encounter problems with scrubbing (especially at the rear) with a lowered jobbie on a G.

I have 225/45/17's on mine and its lowered with Bilstein Coilovers and only scrubs under serious lock or compression.

With 215/45/17's, it has never scrubed.
