Who intends to use the "New Posts" and "New Topics" blocks?

Your opinion please. Who intends to use the "New Posts" and "New Topics" blocks on the right hand side of the forum page?

How often does it update?

Cause it seems pretty slow, for myself probably not

im using the traditional new posts link at the top left. i would use the right bar upon first logon if theres anything interesting in there... but if i have already read all posts, i wouldnt wait an hour before checking again :)

I just use the what's new tab. Is new posts any different?

I just use the original new posts button

I personally hid it. Most of the posts in there were just the offtopic (spam) threads and posts anywhom.
