on my way back from picking up my car from being serviced i ran over a screw driver!!!

verry annoyed :( managed to pull it out and get to somewhere i could change the tyre...

LOL wow. That's impressive. This is why I go and check my tyres every morning before I leave for work. You never know, you might find something like a crowbar lodged into your sidewall on the passenger side and be driving it around.

checking wouldnt have done anything lol it happened when i was driving cuz it was making loud banging noise... thought my sway bar came off or something lol

Really sucks man.
I ran over some weird piece of plastic with a metal protrusion a few months back. I swear it was a caltrop, the only possible use it could have is puncturing tyres.

That looks like a fairly fresh tyre as well. That sucks, mate!

No chance you went with the marangonis in the end did ya?? They have lifetime warranty for accidental damage

Only if not repairable but.. Still puncture repair otherwise is $40 at most and if not repairable then atleast it's not going to cost you a cent

just checked and yeh they have a lifetime accidental damage warranty, reckon i call them? because their offices are in europe.. or just pop in to ian diffen and see?

Hard to tell from pic but if sidewall damaged, tyre rooted..
Only tread can be repaired,
sidewall = immediate scrap (illegal to repair - safety reasons)...
