If you get parts express from autovaux then receive a invoice from the freight company for quarantine processing fee. Demand to see the customs paperwork before you pay anything. :)

I just ordered a lot from autovaux.. What happened? Did the freight company try to charge you or something?

what was the value of the goods?

if its $1kaus or over they will try to hit you up for fees

It was only $460AUD total. Don't want to go into to much detail but if you get a invoice ask for the paper work and you may find you don't have to pay the fee.

Mines over AU$1k so If ever there's a charge, would it be legit?

If it's pretty close to AUD$1000, Autovaux will probably just round it down and declare it <AUD$1000.

sometimes they are not so great with replying to emails, best thing to do is give them a call.

At least your order has actually made it into the country!! Mine was sent from Autovaux by Royal Mail.. Royal Mail says it entered Australia over a week ago and handed off to our local postal service. I called Aus Post today and they have no record of it entering the country at all.. :( Apparently Autovaux have to chase it up (according to Aus Post).
