My tip.. Don't use one of those Resistor chips they do more damage than good (all over eBay the +15hp chips) chips in general are ussually bullshit but there is some decent OBD2.

Best bet is flash ecu and get someone to install a new map.. But not sure with ur half canbus/partial canbus.

Unfortunately not many people do the Vectra C 3.2

Powerchip say they can but failed when they tried it on mine. The only other way I have found in victoria is if you have to the time actually send your ecu away.

so remap would be the best way to go ?

yeh, but at rory said, no1 local to do it.

piggyback is ok aswell, but more cost, and can bring emmission lights on if they dont know the car well enough or dont spend enough time tuning it properly.

only way is send it over, unless they do a bluefin or similar for them.

If it's less than AUD$1000 then tax shouldn't be an issue anyway ;)

Yeah, no import duties on this at all as the purchase price is well under $1000AUD. Doesn't include postage until the purchase price is over that threshold.

Looked into this a few months back. Only downside was living without a car for basically two weeks.

Send it away when you go on holiday ;)

Thats a very tempting option.
