finally getting my muffler put on

well finally getting this put on tommorow :D will post a pic with it on tomorrow yay i really dont like the look of the stock muff not at all looks yucky :P

Nope, it's an xforce muffler...... I put a twin tip on mine :)

Oh and the xforce's sound nice, mine's a straight through and not loud or boomy, but at WOT sounds very nice :)

The twin tips look nice. I'm thinking of taking my cannon muffler off and replacing it with twin tips like one of these.

straight through will make it sound alot louder than it usually is.
mine is 90 db at 5k rpm, cat back

ok well i just got back from magic muffler and the guy said that the muffi dont fit between the suspension and spare wheel brace thing :? i dunno i might take it back tomorrow and ask him to change the angle and stuffs

Well I got a 2.5" inch Xforce cat back so bit different to yours at Liverpool exhaust just like my main mans Steven's aka mr_astra $530 with 2 resenators aswell 8)

I havent' had the centre muffler done yet, i'm not going conventional straight through, i'm having the middle muffler hacked a little and simply adding a 2.25" straight through inside it ;) That way, from the outside you won't know at all, not till you pull the car apart, aparantly a straight through instead of muffler makes it alot noisier when you tromp on it, but reasonable sound when driving normally :D

Thats the muffler i had in mine and there was no problem putting it on. I hate Canons there so loud, and its asking for the copers to pull you over!

I might just change the tip of mine to a Remus ;)

yeah i gained up top too but noticed that i lost quite a bit of bottom end.
Maybe it was the wheels that made my car feel heavy. :?

well got an update guys, i took it down to cormer exhaust again today and the guy said there is no way it is going to fit unless i take a chunk out of my spare wheel brace.... he said it pushes against it quite alot and would cause problems for the exhaust, springs and my engine :( guess it wasnt meant to be lol i will just have to put the tip on, ah well

yea but $180 for a custom muff is too much for my liking considering i have an auto..... i really really really.... really want an manual really... want one, when i do i will deff be getting a nice 3inch to cat with a preemo sports muff :P but with my astra i dont see the point lol

it was from CROMER EXHAUST Bernad, I think I got the tip for $60 and he didn't charge me to fit it. if you like this tip, and want one the same, I can get it for you and give it to you on the next cruise... but i think you can get them in most places, it's just like a fake DTM tip :roll:
