Need some advice.

Talon have said $350 to install my bodykit , I've already got the kit, thats just install.

Thats $350 for installation of spoiler, front & back lip and side skirts.

Is that a good price?

Thanks

this isnt for a respray or anything, its just $350 for putting the kit on the car...it sounded expensive to me but I dont know who else to call in Sydney for this.

Talon have done alot of Astra thats why i called

$350 is reasonable especially if any minor modifications have to be made to ensure the best possible fit.

ive done myn i got charged $1500 fitted and painted (widebody kit)

glue you will need is Sikaflex for sideskirts. front and rear bar is very easy to do its just screws... but if this kit isnt a genuine kit it may take some customising and that can be a pain

If you have an Astra H and are putting on the Genuine SRi Kit, the front and rear bars should just bolt up without any issue. Piece of cake to get them on and off yourself. The sideskirts you will probably need to use some form of glue as Brent has suggested, but that black shit he uses gets everywhere and doesn't come off, so make sure you hit your target with it!!!

Otherwise, just get the side skirts stuck on by the pros (or a panel/smash/crash shop should be able to handle it)

It does come off just rub it with ur finger and create heat.

Just realized the Sri kit is just the xp kit so that one does need some customization (holes drilled and some plastic clip thingos)

Yeh they're a pain to fit... More so if they aren't geniune.

Is it plastic or fibreglass? If plastic makes it much easier if it's fibre it's very hard

They're plastic.
Mine fit very well when I had it fitted, required almost no modification, but they do take time to get sitting perfectly right

Ahhhhh... then I take that back... If it's just the lip then $350 isn't too bad for properprofessional fittment with some form of workmanship guarentee.

HSVi are the genuine kits, which is most of what I've got (except the front is my irmscher splitter).
