It definitely looks alright, just something a little funny about the rear end, needs to sit lower, same problem with the AH's, the actually body line doesn't sit low enough.

Agree this thing is so nice as mentioned in other threads...

It even looks better than alot of other far more expensive types in this segment, sounds like it'll have the quality and the go to match the show...can only hope we somehow get Opels here again :)

I'm going to be in Paris from tomorrow and will be at the Motor Show when it opens this Saturday. Will be there to see this, (along with plenty of others we don't get in Aus). Plan on spending the entire day there

Planning on taking plenty of photos, and deciding for myself how it looks in the metal

Can't wait!!

Sounds good, hope you enjoy the event...:)

I'm travelling to and going to be at the Sydney International Motor show next month and spewing there's going to be no new Opels to check or this thing would've been there too :(

Yeh I know...

I doubt it will compare though to Sabine Schmitz driving us flatout round the Nurburgring three weeks ago in a BMW M5 (and did I mention sideways?) :D

Well I got to see this today at the Motor Show. First impressions... good. You could tell it was a concept (plastic rear window), and a few other things, but the overall shape I liked. I'm still not completely sold though... it's still looks 'soft' to me a bit (same with the 5 door). Tbh I would almost say the RenaultSport Megane looked just as good in the metal, if not better. No brochures were given out, but took plenty of photos of both. Give me a few days..

Gives you an idea what the VXR shape will be bar side skirts being added, variation to the front bumper and slight changes to the rear, different wheels and the concepts seats, what the GTC is is basically going to follow through as the 'GSi' model.............VXR/OPC will run a mechanical LSD rather than the electronic jobbie found in the GTC..............VXR/OPC test mule is currently at the GM test centre at the nurburgring, expect power output to be around 296bhp, test mule is being run at 290ps and plenty of scope to see it well into 300bhp with some very basic tuning upgrades.

Looking at these pics, the metal above the wheel arches are huge!! Makes the wheels look so small. Obviously to meet pedestrians crash compliance. Just looks so heavy handed. Back 3/4 looks a little odd. Dead on rear looks good. Maybe the lights should be raised a bit more like the AH?
