I actually kinda like the grille in red.

Before anyone says anything - The Koni sticker is already gone :)

Hmm - My current wheels are guttered to the buggery!! - No point getting red walls done - So maybe some creative refurbing is in order..

Maybe something like this. Little bit narrower on the front grille pin stripe and some subtle pinstriping carried through on the side mirrors...

The strip itself on the front of the grille is actually a seperate chromed piece - So only painting a small section of it would look a bit strange.

I should actually go snap a few pics of it close up.

Your refering to the Gti, it seems to work on that vehicle although it suits some of the exterior colours (like black and dark grey) more than others...

IMHO not a fan it just dosn't work for me, maybe a darker less bright red colour ?? or maybe the curvature of it, or maybe not on a white Astra ??

I also don't think some of those other suggestions like red pin stripes etc. will look any good the car is ok as is, but each to their own :)

must say i always thought the red on the golfs looked out of place on some of the colours.

but today i saw a white golf that had the centre section of the bonnet painted black and had a red pin stripe going all the way up. seemed to really suit the car. maybe do a ps of something similar as i think it could work really well on the astra as well.

why not a similar colored numberplate frame, to match grille
