R34 Skyline (Tommy Kaira) PLYTYM

Hi all
This was my previous car before i bought the SRi-T. its an NISSAN SKYLINE R34/R TOMMY KAIRA.
The car was 197.3Kw @ Wheels standard from japan and this car was not a street legal car in japan it was built for drifting. bcoz it has more then the 206Kw the jap cars are allowee.
in race boost and setting the car produced 262.8Kw @ Wheels and a 1/4 mile time of 12.49sec with slick's. and a 12.81with street tyres :D .
from what i know there is only 2 of this model car in austraila and mine that i sold is still in sydney now owned by a young japp guy and the other one is in S.A.

i bough it for $47,000 with 24,000Km and sold if after 10months for $41,000 and 56,000Km.

the car was a private import and only had one previous owner before i in austraila and also included all the Japp log books and service history and heaps of other stuff :mrgreen:

my friend has an R33 and it does 13.1 quater @ 11psi with an ecu mod only and 214Kw @ Wheels. a bigger turbo is his next project and an low 12z he wants on street tyres as well....
i miss my R34 though in many ways. like in 3rd gear just popping the clutch and letting it slide :(.. cant to that with the SRiT. :(

hey, i saw a tommy kaira r34 driving around perth about 3-6 months ago, i can't remember whether it had WA plates or interstate, all i remember is scraping my jaw off the floor after it zoomed off! luuuvly car, and it was white by the way

ah chased by car hunters ay! had that happen to me when i was with a friend in a r32 GTR. on the m5.

Probably the scariest thing ive ever experianced!

only reason we got away was all of a sudden they braked hard and started swerving really badly. i think they popped a tyre.

freaktown... yeah its sh*t loads scary, and i did panic but i went through hurstville area and through the back streets of kingsgrove and lost them throught there on my way home to my 0ld address back then where i used to live....
the guys were in a silver FTO mitsubishi.....

i was just lucky i knew then streets really good and my car had heaps of power :) PHEWWWWWWWWWW.

its still looks like a magna too me, i dont go much for the r34 in my eyes the r32 were the best shape skyline out there, but im not saying that i wauldnt own that r34.

well for us they were in a lancer, the problem is, once your on the m5 most cars can do a fairly high speed so there was no room to get ahead of them!

he had the 180 speed cut on.

it wasnt until they popped a tyre (or so i think) that we got away!

i had no cut out on my car as the ecu was done on it by tommy kaira....
the most i have ever got to with the R34 was 258km redline on 5th gear :)..
i shit my self at that speed, would not do that agin on normal streets hee hee.
