Got to be stupid to even considering buying one. You'd get a GTI Golf for that kind of price once you start adding anything to it.

It's acctually not badly priced... When comparing it to the rest of the Audi lineup.

+ chris golf gti = 40k+. Polo gti is more around that price

The car itself I really like and I'd buy one if yes it was say $25-28k Mazda 3 sorta pricing.. It's the same with the alfa MiTo I love the car but way to high price point...

I'll wait 4yrs and ussual Audi and alfa depreciation should bring it nicely to $18k-20k

I've been keeping an interested eye on this model from a long time ago, have to say the end result is well...yuk, even the interior is crap for an Audi ! except for the nice headlights, but you can get those on the new VW Polo...which I'd prefer over this thing by a long shot - ie. the Gti Polo...

That price is the model line up starting price and the base variant looks totally crap...that pic above is the range topper as it exists ATM and will end up being in the 50-60k range...

Future better variants will follow, ie. an S and most probably an RS variant...can't even begin to imagine the price on the RS variant...

It's main competitor is the Mini, another ugly POS...

Agree, front end is the nicest part of the thing, but the new Gti Polo looks better IMHO much better, not only the front but the rest of the car...the Polo has the same engines, drivelines chassis etc.
