Just curious, anyone running these types of plugs in their cars?

Have previously in a race car, never in a road car. I think SSS_Hoon was running them or something similar

Ah cool. Any reason not in a road car, apart from the lifespan?

Surface and semi-surface discharge firing tips are less sensitive to voltage requirement increases due to gap growth(wear). Note the concave cut on the ground electrodes for even Gap growth (wear). In addition, this type of construction aids in burning away the carbon which can act as a bridge between the center electrode and plug shell. This bridging can cause plug misfire.

Essentially just a much more effective and reliable spark plug.

I'm waiting for Luke H on vxronline to find his part numbers for them. The link Chris put up is the NGK speil on them (i think) but they only list them for marine use.

Yeah NGK only list them for marine use. Which is odd. Positive i've seen Champion ones listed on their website somewhere.
