Hey guys im a new member. i always liked to research stuff bout my car and always somehow ended up on your forums so i thought why not join and add my own two bits worth. My names alex im 17 years old and own a 2002 sri astra. I love my astra and i dont regret buying it. so far all ive done is put on a set of wheels and spray my calipers red (i swear the car stops better now). anyways ive taken a fair bit of your time now. thanks for having me.

man that thing sits pretty nice on those rims.. you lower that thing an inch or two, and it'll set it off like magic. it'll look awesome

the rims are ssw crush's/ Dixie id love to drop it an inch but im worried about it scrubing. currently it scrubs a bit in the back if i go over a bump too quick. when i mean quick i mean iradic p plater quick. if you drive it nicely you have no problems.

scrubbing on the floor or the wheel well?
cos lowered springs are usually stiffer so you get less scrub, thats what happened for me anyway.

lol the wheels are scrubbing in the back somewhere in the weel arches but as i said. it happens rarely. aparently if i roll my rear guards it should get better but id like to go stiffer springs and shocks. drop the car by about an inch in the frond and 3/4 an inch in the rear.

i wouldnt lower personally, just get stiffer springs and roll the guards

with the 19's its sits fine imo

dont even bother changing springs then. just through in some adjustable Koni's or Bilstiens, thatd do the trick.

i wouldnt mind another set of bilstiens. i had them on my old commodore and they were brilliant.
