Sabastien Buemi's Toro Rosso suffered an amazing catastrophic front suspension failure in P1 for the Chinese Grand Prix. Pretty scary moment.

so what caused it?

disc rotors exploded or something

scary it happend to both wheels

New upright design introduced this weekend, apparently there's an issue with it. Also the wheel tethers (cables) are attatched to these uprights so the wheels weren't retained on the car. One wheel actually landed in a spectator area.

saw it on the news, looked pretty hectic!
good that he is fine tho...
one less starter this weekend.

They rectified the issue with the upright and repaired the car.
