we've sampled the zenvo st1's charms while avoiding camels in the desert, but now, puny earthlings, is your chance to see it for yourselves.

see pics of some camels, stig... And a zenvo st1 in dubai (http://www.topgear.com/uk/photos/stig-versus-zenvo-st1)

because hypercar upstart zenvo has released promotional footage of the most talked-about performance machine of recent times - the 1,100bhp st1.
Denmark's first hypercar company correctly decided that the path to petrolhead success lay only in going straight for the big dawg bugatti veyron.

And with balls bigger than the big bug, the zenvo is our kind of machine. It's star wars stormtrooper-helmet body houses a 7.0-litre supercharged/turbocharged v8, the 0-62mph dash takes three seconds and the top speed is limited to 233mph. Limited!

The 1,100bhp st1 weighs just 1,376kg, giving it a monster power-to-weight ratio of 802 per tonne. The veyron manages 446hp.

Of course, the veyron is engineered to be able to launch into outer space and penetrate uranus, but the zenvo's quality is remarkable for such a low-volume carmaker.

So behold - press the magic button and witness stiggy's new best friend...

Very nice indeed! It has an awesome stance on the road! That said I still think I would prefer a Veyron, you can see the weight savings in that interior

Was in march edition of topgear uk magazine. Does look good and sounds it to, was in latest aus one aswell along with a story of a bunch of Perth guys building a working replica of the batman rumbler (minus flying and machine guns) but was awesome! See Perth is good for something!

As for the zenvo I'd still have a reventon :P

my gps shows a max recorded speed of 292km/h. (private road of course).

but doing 300+ in an E92 M3 a few weeks ago was mind blowingly awesome.

That Zenvo ST1 is going to be a hit - no doubt !!!

Only 15 will be built - lucky 15 buggers that'll end up with one...

As mentioned, I have the Top Gear Mag which features it if I get some spare time this weekend, I'll take pics of the article pages and post it up...

As I've always said, V8's (even old school ones like that fitted to this car) rule !!!!!!!! :cornut:

Jesus cracking 300 is getting quick stretch another 30 or so and youre cracking the 200 mile mark!..... The 1.8 astra has struggled to a GPS marked 196 before, ran out of road another 100km it might have cracked 200 lol
