I can't believe the amount of $$$ you have to pay in NSW to get "custom" plates, yet you can't get 6 characters with no numbers! You need a secret decoder ring to decipher what most of them say.....

I know we can only get up to 6 characters with a maximum of 2 numbers at the start or the end here in VIC, but at least you only have to pay a once off fee of $310 and the plates are yours for good.
