Hi All,
My name is Gareth and I am from Johannesburg, South Africa. I have been a true Opel nutter and probably will be for the rest of my days.
All my cars that I have owned have been Opels. From my first car, a white 1981 Opel Kadett 1.6GLS (Mom's old car). Although the body lost it's battle against the rust (Down in Durban), the engine kept on going. This is what really impressed me about the car that was already 12 years old before I took ownership.
Through the years of abuse and mocking from family and friends about my passion for the Opel brand, I stuck to my guns and owned what I desired.
My Opel history that I have owned in the past:
'84 Red & Black Opel Ascona 1.8 GSi Limited Edition,
'96 Blue Opel Astra 160iE,
'99 Green Opel Kadett 200iS,
'02 Blue Opel Astra Classic 1.8CDE,
'07 Magma Red Opel Astra 1.8 Sport,
'08 Arden Blue Opel Astra OPC.
My Current Car:
'10 Power Red Opel Astra OPC
3608
My Wife's car (bought last week):
'10 Opel Corsa Essentia
3609
Cheers,
Gareth
