Just for future reference, when I get some new tyres...

After fitting after-market rims/tyres, does your car's factory default tyre pressure need to be readjusted, e.g. 19"s upgraded from 17"s?
How wide a tyre can you fit to an 8" wide rim?

Cheers.

What would the new tyre pressure be?

In my low profile (40mm) kumho's I run about 32 PSI, from memory the stock 15's ran about 28psi

So is there a formula to determine the new PSI?

Not that I know of. The wheel supplier had them pumped at that, and when the car was lowered and balanced in Bowral another wheel company checked air pressures again

That said I think the rears are ever so slightly too hard, its nothing huge and the car is still "fun" in the bends but the fun factor could may well rise with the loss of 2 psi :D

find whats comfortable for you and suits your driving. Just keep an eye on tyre wear from time to time to make sure its not under or over inflated. I find on mine (215/35/18) 38psi all round gives the most even wear but can be a little bit of a hard ride.
