Thanks!

Being in Tassie maybe u pay more for mechanicals???

I think the average is around the $800 mark afaik. Timing & Water pump required, get the whole kit to be safe. Fluids, Filters etc etc...

Thanks guys :) I was talking to my house mate tonight he's a mechanic and auto electrician and he said he can do it for around $750 but I might get him to do it cheaper if I get the parts from autovaux or dany like you guys suggested :D I showed him the list of stuff to be done that's in the log book, which is the same one posted on here and he said he's fine to do it all after looking at it so I think I'm pretty happy with that. Thanks again for your input guys!

I'd get all the filters (except oil filter) belts etc, and waterpump from Autovaux.

Should save you a couple of hundred $.

You may also want to change the brake fluids and coolant too.

After that, all the major things will be taken care of for the next 4 years / 60,000km

I wouldn't bother with Dan from LMF, he doesn't answer PMs or posts.

Same here, i think he's getting confused with Autovaux as that was my exact experience with them.
