Last Friday I was rammed from the rear by a truck whilst stationary in traffic on Orrong Rd.
I'm sure she's a write-off, just so sad considering how well it's been going, all the work put into her.
Just purchased some 205/60R15's the week before, also. :(

looking at the creases in the rear quarter panels i would say write off, cause no doubt the chassis has copped a fair hit too.

sad to see mate :(

looking gat the piccs again, that warp in the rear quarter panel pretty much garuntees a write-off, where is the caar now?
probably dont want to hear this now, but any chance i could grab the sideskirts and/or rear bumper if you are not planning on fixing it up?

Sorry mate - really crap luck. Hope you weren't hurt. The only good reason a Vec should cop a hiding is to save its occupants.

Did the truck driver cop a fine? He should get a sizeable one and lose points for smackin' you like that.

On the (maybe) up-side, you could upgrade to a newer Vec! Might be selling my ZC CDXi soon as I'm heading off to the UK.

Correct. The passenger in the taxi that I had hit was running late for his flight to Singapore... :/

RAC had assessed and classified it as a write-off. Car was insured for an agreed value of $12,700 as we've had it from new. Not all is lost. Thanks for your support guys. :smile5:
