hey guys, just after a bit of help brainstorming.

we are heading into a bit of an adventure at the moment, and will be building a car from scratch. if all goes well, hopefully followed by a few more :).

the problem is, i cant think of a name for the car.

will be along the kit car/custom car lines, and will follow the euro supercar sort of design.

mainstream will be a euro v8 awd, but we have plans for a low budget rwd turbo 4, or nat as v6.

if everything goes to plan, and emmisions dont cause too many issues. then down the track will be a v8 twin turbo awd :D.

neway, the name needs to be powerful and catchy.
all idea's we have had just havent jumped out n bit us yet.
so any help would be greatly appriciated.

thanks.

maybe give it a codename to start with, then once you have the car designed the name will come from that?

however, as JC would say, geoff is a good name

Boasting 920kw from a 6.7L V8, The TOM accelerates from 0-100 in a blistering 2.1 seconds and reaches a top speed of 670km/hr.

Optional Sat Nav.

Call the company QED Automation. QED for short.

Q = Quality
E = Efficiency
D = Design

also
Q.E.D. is an abbreviation of the Latin phrase (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Latin_phrases_%28full%29) quod erat demonstrandum, which literally means "which was to be demonstrated". The phrase is written in its abbreviated form at the end of a mathematical proof (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mathematical_proof) or philosophical (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Philosophy) argument (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Logical_argument) to signify that the last statement deduced was the one to be demonstrated; the abbreviation thus signals the completion of the proof.

so basically every car you make has the quality, efficiency and design that was set out to be demonstrated

model names can be flamboyant.

EDIT:: QED could also stand for Queensland Exotics Division or Queensland Exotic Designs

name it the fingerbang, and depending on the size of the engine it could be a fingerbang 200, fingerbang 200T or a fingerbang 500.

has a nice ring to it methinks :p
