to summarise, GM is thinking of bringing back the Senator. It will be based on the now "deceased" SAAB 95. GM did not reveal if it will be Opel Senator but hinted towards Buick Senator for the USA market.

too bad if its based on the 9-5 as all the Senator's were RWD IIRC..

That's just hot!

And the 9-5 isn't dead yet. Saab will be starting production of the 9-3 convertible and the new 9-5 in the next few days. Looks like GM will sell them after all
