Spelling fail. Isn't it spelt "Vauxhall"?

(not bagging your grammar Theo, it's the same in the article.)

Didn't think an Astra would ever look so boring.

interior looks great...shame the only thing most ppl will see is that bland exterior.

I also made a comment on that link....too many fanboys bagging out the Cruze over the new astra....

Australia wont be getting the new astra....so let it go ppl.

Happy Motoring

i like it interior and exterior... i mean its better than other small cars in price area.. e.g. I30i or nissan tiida or even the out dated focus.. its atleast got a good flow about it. but yes that blue/silver dont do it any good..

i really dont like those steering wheels and the giant hole of nothing infront of the shifter

i love the comments at the bottom an arguement over the cruze being daewoo cheap crap

Exterior is nice, but bland. Current model 5dr is the same there - neither does a great deal for me. But both perfectly fine. Really hanging out for the 3dr though... and specifically the VXR model.

The interior is class leading though imo.

They finally give Astra users a compartment you can put things in... and the first thing we do is complain? Lol.

most of the comments on the bottom of that article are retarded - I'd be disappointed if it was anyone here writing that crap.

Petrol engines range from 1.4- to a 1.6-litre turbocharged unit

only a 1.6L turbo engine these days????

I've noticed that any articles now that allow comments on that website have absolute utter crap

There was a review on the Mercedes E Class within the last week, on the proviso that no comments were allowed. I can understand why...

The 1.6 turbo is the top petrol engine until the SRi Turbo comes out ;-)

When I saw those pics, I thought it looked bland and rubbish.

But yesterday, (I am in the UK right now) I saw maybe ten of them and in real life they look really nice! I saw one next to a Scirocco and they have the same look and stance as each other.

They have already infested the towns here, definitely a nice change from seeing Mazda 3s everywhere.

Shesh what a jump up from the AH, I really hope they bring this to NZ as it would make a great company car for the missus.

That interior is fantastic, looks top quality.

I'll have one in Black thanks.
