G'day All,

Just a note to say Hello!
noob in here:yikes:,
Based in Perth's Northern Suburbs

Definition of TURBOGRINS = An Involuntary facial expressions generated by a turbine assited acceleration

Just upgraded from a 1996 2.0 Astra GSi to an MY06.5 2.0l SRi TURBO,
(currently 3 astra's in the stable)

Loving the Astra always a sweet little thing, aspiring to a RWD V8 Astra Tourer, ahhh what it is to have dreams.
Would settle for a VXR in between...

until next time!

Well yes I must admit that the sight of your DRL's the other night was a little different, that and I had picked a change in the exhaust note of the one I will now affectionately rename "the burger ringer". if you are going to go all out with the mods i would encourage you to not hold back and go with a full DTM kit...

;);) have to let you into a little secret, there's no CDX in the stable just 2 of the little turbine assisted variety.;);)

My GSi is still around at the moment but it's gotta go, no more space for it,

Mate I love the GSi it's kinda like a first crush, you never want to leave it, but really you know you don't have a choice!

Correct a remapped turbo G can easily do 240km/h, the only limiter on these cars is your redline eg. remapped is 7,200rpm. Which will see you around the 250km/h-260km/h, thats if you dont run out of puff.

She works in that area,so more than likely would have been her.

Wave out next time.....freaks her out.
Guys come up and ask her questions about the car at petrol stations, she never knows if they are interested in the car or her !

maybe - if t'was a yellow bike,
Generally if you make a little space for "lane change" in traffic then yes, would have noted and acknowledged with a big old thumbs up!
Just before 7 sounds a touch early for me though!
what u driving? - Oh that's right my favourite colour Arden VXR - always gonna give one of those a little wiggle on the way past, who wouldn't!

S L O W L Y,
It's just such a shame I don't have a big shed to wrap it up in cotton wool and love it for a little while longer, this would be a cool car to keep and look after for ever... so needs must i sp'ose
Not like I really advertised it yet though, need to get some notice boards done for it and get it shifted...
