anyone know the whereabouts of my old astra turbo ?

last i saw it was for sale on carsales

plates on it at that time were POTSY

its the one with the yellow and blue battery

small dint on bonnet where battery didnt quite fit
(if anyone owns it on here)

BTW for those who dont know

colour is arden blue
has a short shifter
irmscher pedals
blue handbrake cover and gear boot
custom front mount intercooler
unichip
opc grille
opc badging rear
opel centre caps
irmscher badge on ash tray



well over 100,000ks on clock

Try doing an RTA search in your respective State...if you have the cars VIN and/or engine numbers, that's all they'll need !

They may or may not devulge this info to you, I've done it before here in Vic. successfully...

what kind of mickey mouse operation to vic roads run down there, thats a huge breach of privacy.... you're telling me you can ring up vicroads with a vin and they will tell you the registered owner?

As said, worked for me a number of years back...but no of course you won't get full private info...

I didn't get the car owners name or address from them, but they did divulge the car was still registered and active and still located in the same Capital City/State...

As far as OPC's original question, that at least would let him know whether or not it's written off or still road registered and if it's still located in the same state at least :)
