The low-slung, lightweight e-tron concept, unveiled at last month’s Frankfurt motor show, had electric motors at all four wheels and could sprint from 0-100km/h in just 4.8 seconds.

Its lithium-ion battery pack, which was positioned where the engine would go on petrol versions, could be recharged from a domestic power point in about eight hours and had a range of about 250km.


lol, i doubt i would get 250km the way i would wanna drive it :D

Interesting about the motors at all four wheels - each would need it's own gearbox (bit of a misnomer as it only has one gear... but still).

The very first coal-powered audi :)

Yes I do like and yes have already seen and discussed this one over at the OzAudi forum :)

Apparently this is no where near official and unsure if this styling will actually lead to the new proposed R4 or the new Mk3 TT range...either one would be great :)

I think we'd all love one, BUT if it 'is' the proposed R4, it will slot in above the TT range, therefore its price point will be north of 150k without question, most probably at or over 200k...

And that's always the deal breaker on cars like Audis for the common folk, the damn price of the things...
