Hey guys,have been meaning to find the best forum for Astra's join and it looks like I've found the one!

I got my car in feb, been adding small mods for now like After market airfilter, exhaust, angel eyes and HIDS.

Plans are coming up to lower the beast down and maybe get a Haltech Interceptor piggy back and a Cold air-intake Unifilter as well in the future.

BTW anyone know where i can find weather shields? Im desperate!!
lol.

They custom made it for me in a day.
Its worth it if your planning on going through the mountains or in my case bringing the car home from SA through insane roads =p

the cross over you no the bit that goes from your intake over ur engine thats ur cross over mate ;)

Welcome to the site mate. Have a look through CNBLU's car page to see what they mean, and what it looks like to remove the crossover pipe. Basically changes the pipe that goes to your pod to a 90 degree from the top of your turbo.

Ahh I got it know, hmm never actually paid attention to it that much. Yeah I'll try and get that taken off too, think FLYSRI pulled his off too. I'll as him about it later. About the GOR cruise, it sounds pretty mad! I dunno if I can make it though cause it's pretty early but I'll see what happens the night before ;)

What time do u think it'll finish at?

Wow that's pretty expensive man. I think i can get some King springs for a bit cheaper. BTW anyone know where i can get my hands on some cheap whiteline coil overs? and do you know if they'll be rough when in an astra TS turbo?

u can get teh hole set of eibach springs for $250 mate not sure bout whiteline coilovers but best bet is the uk for coilovers for our cars

thats less then what king springs cost!

coilovers will almost always have a harsher ride unless your going for the $$ stuff
if your doing on a budget, u cant go past the eibachs

the springs dnt adjust they just go in there a 50mm drop if thats wat u want??

but cn be done by urself and then bout 30 to 50 bucks to get ur wheels re aligned

on average installation is around $50 a corner in the shops + allignment
its not too hard if your ok with a spanner

yep terrible result ! you are losing power somewhere....even stock you should have another 20 somewhere.

I dunno really where it went to, some guysb think maybe it was because the engine had over heated? Any Suggestions on what I can do to check it out?

Finally got my wheels (which I paid for back at the start of March) and they look crazy on the MK4! Thanks to Tyre Works Dandenong, I got some Kumo's for $700 for a set! So cheap! All I need now are to get the guards flared and I'm down! =D

Yea, I was gettin told they look too big from what my mate's are saying, but I ordered them the same size as Cnblu over here, hope you told me the right specs for my 18 inches! lol

Then again, it could be the tyres, i dont think they chucked on low profiles =S

I haven't had much experience with coilovers.... love how they are adjustable...especially for how the Vectra's are lower in the rear, but how do they compare with ride comfort to springs and shocks ?
