Not sure if anyone is intending to go to the above but if you do keep an eye out for us in the red TR7V8, (and say hello), as have entered the event.

Never done it before but those we know that have say it is great, 16km hill-climb basically with a navigator.

As long as we get through Classic, see you there.

Drop by and say hello, I'll be the one in the navigators seat - the taller of the two! :D

Hope to, have a GoPro camera fitted, so all being well yes! (should have had footage from the rally we wrecked the yellow car in, but after mounting the camera found neither of us could reach it to start it once harnessed in - duh! Didn't last long enough to sort it - double duh!)

It's happening this weekend, the TR survived Classic Adelaide so will be there! Setting off tomorrow morning, scrutineering and 'prologue' runs Friday, for real Saturday and Sunday.

Not us but this is the run up the mountain:-

That's amazing mate! Enjoy it!
Just be sure to stay safe, some big drops off the side, and some sturdy trees hidden behind that fog!

Surprised Jack didn't get the back end out more, prob felt really sturdy compared to his v8 brute :p

Mat and I went up Sunday, was a fantastic day, so many unbelieveable cars and great weather!!

Also well organised race structure where the spectators get a good chance to see the cars race from different vantage points!!!

Couldn't get my camera out in time but saw your TR7 take off nicely sideways from the start line!

Note: in the 'off' we didn't do any damage whatsoever, just well and truly stuck, (oh and the exhaust tried to start a bush fire with some dry leaves!)

Once towed up back onto the road we just fired it up again and drove back to the service park - VERY LUCKY!
