Well just to show you how active I am I'll be online throughout the day during work hours as well as in my own spare time as I don't work weekends but here I am :D

I enjoy the forums, and enjoy modding my car, I'll pop up a proper thread so you can see what I've done with the Vectra so far as its still a work in progress.

Its basically an online shop but we have a small shop that people can drop by, when people see the website they think LMF is huge but in reality it just a small unit with 4 people working there including myself :D

Of course, will tell him tomorrow when I'm at my desk :)

Just to let you all know I'll be looking into the shipping costs over the next few days and will try and work whats the best for you all.

Also if you all wanted to buy in bulk and we ship to one person in Australia and they then ship the items out to individual peoples that may also save on shipping but we'll look into this.

Its just an idea, just depends on how urgent people are for what they order and whether they'd mind if it was sent out that way.

Again just depends on what savings it makes on the shipping if any. So something for me to find out lol

yeah! With all the astras/barinas/veccies on aus roads and the outrageous prices holden charges for spares, an Oz based online LMF store would be extremely viable.

So Dan, do you like -cold- beer and warm climates? :D

Just a little update, currently looking into shipping and its a nightmare lol

Have any of you recently have items shipped to you from the UK and if you have what sort of cost was you paying?? just looking into things so I can do you guys the best deals that I can.

Usual shipping from the UK for small items is about 65GBP if that helps.
guess it depends on the weight etc, i got my box from DTUK shipped for 10GBP by international royal mail parcel force.
Small things like badges etc i wouldn't imagine would cost too much, it's only once you start getting to large or heavy items that it get expensive.
Irmscher-bitz uses DHL, maybe try seeing what they can do for us...as their service is always good, gets here within 4 or so days.

Sorry, should have justified what i meant in regards to small. I was talking cams, precats etc, bit of weight. Also just got an intercooler kit which was 175GBP at 13kilos and quite big.

Right people I've got a few figures for shipping and all I can say is ouch :yikes: lol.

Right to give you a rough idea Astra G grilles (except Irmscher and Lexmaul) would work out at £40 delivery plus the part.

Astra G Irmscher and Lexmaul grilles would be £63 delivery plus the part, this is due to the value and slightly larger box sizes.

I was asked about Corsa B grilles and they should work out at the same prices as above.

Astra H Irmscher and Lexmaul grilles would be £140 delivery plus the part, again its the size of it that doesn't help.

The cheaper Astra H cross hatch grille we do would cost £80 delivery plus the part.

Any quite small items we should still be able to get through Royal Mail but I shall try to quote as I go along.

Sorry this post is a bit long winded lol

specifically 209-6003, 209-5401 & 209-4301 for arp stuff and Glyco Big End Bearings 71-3764/04 STD & Glyco Main Bearings H982/5 STD

I I know irmscher-bitz uses DHL, no matter what size and weight, AUD$19 per order (ie Eibach pro-kit).

The additional costs associated with the postage are included in their base price for the item, thats why the postage looks low for the bigger heavier items.

In saying that, it makes it easier when ordering as you don't need different freight pricing, it is what it is.

heres probably as good a place to ask as any,

can you get ARP Bolts and Glyco Bearings?

specifically 209-6003, 209-5401 & 209-4301 for arp stuff and Glyco Big End Bearings 71-3764/04 STD & Glyco Main Bearings H982/5 STD

from a local supplier I'm looking at about 290 pounds for the arp stuff but they have a 4 week order time from the US...

I'm not 100% sure but I shall ask my boss when hes in later on to see if we can :)

did you have any luck with this?
