don't just start buying them off ebay

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VAUXHALL-S-WHEEL-CONTROLS-BLACK-VXR-LWR-TRIM-ASTRA_W0QQitemZ270445340205QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_C arsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item3ef7cc662d&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14

there is a start

Agreed. After having a mate that sprayed his commodore trims it ended up chipping and looking crap. Sure buying them off ebay is more expensive but at least you'll have an interior that looks good and will ultimately make the car sellable.

Factory Piano black trims are usually black plastic (sometimes cleared over with 2k paint or some other special paint). If you really want to spray them, use baked 2K solid black paint. A panel shop could easily do that for you...pull then out...and ask for a quote...I can tell you it wont be too cheap due to preparation involved.
