Thought I'd share this with all of you, especially for those of us who needs tyres now:
http://www.goodyearautocare.com.au/centric/tyres/25off.jsp

Conditions (as far as I can see):
* Must buy 4 tyres;
* Only applies to certain tyres (hopefully the better ones!);
* At participating (GoodYear Autocare?) stores only.

Effectively, it's buy 3 get 1 free :)

last time they had this deal, it didn't apply to the Goodyear Eagle F1s or any tyres in 215/40R17s..

hopefully that has changed..

The new Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetricals are very highly rated

surprisingly, tempe tyres.. .most ppl hate them, but they're very competitive if you know exactly what you're after and the current prices.

Everyone else i received quotes from were over $200..

i'd be interested to see, due to their perhaps suspect record, what the dates are on the tyres you get from them. As the rubber in tyres is only ideal for around 6 years, maybe they get them cheap cos they're older? just an idea.

Btw, for those who don't know, you can check the date of your tyres by the 4 digits in the oval on the outside of the tyre...first two = the week of the year it was made, last two = year it was made... eg 2608 = 26th week in 2008.
