I like to mount my camera to the windscreen/side window to capture video at future cruises, so I want something decent, but not costing a small fortune. The camera I want to mount is the Panasonic FZ28.

I looked at Egay, but there are so many and some of the pics they show just pain impossible! *LOL*

When shay gets online he can recommend one we used on our last cruise. From what i remember he stuck it on his roof and it stayed put.

better be careful, heard a while ago things protruding from the outside of the car may not be legal(what is fkn legal these days:rolleyes:) but haven't seen anything about it for ages

Yeah on our last cruise i was having a go with a Go Pro Hero video camera,
had a great suction cup, rated to pull out dents...
and a warranty where if your go pro does fall off they will give you a new one...

BUT, that doesnt have a mount for a regular camera, sorry...
on a side note complete go pro kit costs about 250.

I don't think the cops would have been worried about a camera being on one of the cars......

I think the cops would have been worrying about a lot of worse things than a camera being on one of the cars......

corrected

also, the go pro records sound (not to well at hi revs) and is waterproof, and comes with helmet attachments too

This is W.A. The state that has confiscated hundreds of "Hoon" cars.

IMO yes they will prob pick you up for using a outside mounted camera...
but chances are when youre using a camera in a car, chances are your not being 100% legal anyway...
