Vectra C CDXi and Leather Seats.

My new Veccy has really lovely BLACK leather seats with a kind of Criss-Cross pattern on them.

All of the other 2003/2005 veccy's I saw advertised had GREY leather seats. Was the Black only in the first VC model? Am I mistaken ?

AFAIK only the CDXi came with leather seats and they're all black. The grey ones are fabric. The newer CDXi's had a different style seat but they were still black.

I've got a 2005 MY05 update CDXi and the leather seats and interior is nowhere near black. It is dark grey. The earlier ones seem a few shades darker but black is pushing it. My 2000 JSII GL hatch (Euro build) had a black interior, so I can compare Opel/Vauxhall blacks first hand.

That sounds like what I was looking at. They are a plain dark grey - without a pattern, just direct stitching.

THe black leathers in the 2003 CDXi are criss-crossed quite nicely.......

I like mine better :)

Any ideas why 2 2003 Vectra CDXi's would have different seats ?

Could also be that they changed them when they went to the electric adjustable seats?

Just to throw a spanner in the works, i haven't seen my veccy for a while :( but pretty sure mine has the grey leather seats.

Maybe it was where the car was built, if they were built at 2 different factorys, not sure, grasping for ideas here :p
