Ok boys and girls.... who take their phat ride to the race track
because i never seen an opel on my track days (mostly cooper Ss, Clio sports and 206Gtis representing the Euro bunch)

post your ride and its mods, which track and track time

I took my old stock 306 to Wakefield a few years and a mate timed me at flat 1:19. That was fun.

Start of the Year the Astra SRi hit Victoria Finest Circuits with the WRX Club:
Phillip Island:
Fastest Lap: 2:15.330
On Falken Azenis RT215 215/45/16
Hassle Free Day, Only Melted the Front Pads and couldn't get the Pads out of the Caliper.
Sandown
Fastest Lap: 1:59:570
On Azenis RT215 215/45/15
Brake Pads Problem Again, This Time rears caught Fire :lol:
My SRi is Pretty Stock, Use As above Tyres, $2 Shop Occys to hold the Bonnet Down :lol: 25mm Lowered Bilstien Springs, Shortened Bilstien Struts.
Ferodo TS2000 Pads(From Memory Thats What they are) Sabelt 4-point Harness(Take out after Meets).

what do you need for the track??

DOT approved helmet?
4 point harness?
fire extinguisher?
bonnet pins?

Yeah Pretty Much Adrian.
Basic CAMS LICENCE(Get through any Car Club Basiclly)
Secured Fire Extinguisher within Reach of Driver
Decent Seat Belts, Prefer Harness(3 or 4 Point)
Secured Bonnet, Can Use Occys or Tape(Yes that Dodgey) But it ya making a Habit of going to the Track, The Pins or Straps(Leather or Rubber).
Taped Headlamps
A Good Helmet
Long Pants,Long Sleeved Wincheater
Good Shoes not sure on Rule, I wear my DC Shoes :oops:
Engine Fluid Catch Cans(Standard on Our Cars :) )

Thats all I can remember at the Moment.
