Anyone know any good couriers? Im buying 5 wheels & tyres (Nurb VXR ones) off a private seller in scotland (looks like about an hour out of edinburough). Just looking for a cheap courier (thats reliable) dont care so much about delivery times so can be sea mail, dont mind (id like to get them asap but dont wanna spew out $$$) ive tried aus post and they quoted around 200 for a package self wraped at around 20-25kg (this is a guess not sure how much 18"s with tyres would roughly weigh)

Any help would be much appreciated, thanks guys/gals!:D

Fast Lane International Couriers. (http://www.wedelivertheworld.co.uk/book_index.php) Got my front splitter here for $100 when Fedex was quoting $600+, has to be worth a try.

does 68x68x23 sound about right dimensions for 18" with tyres? tyres are 225/40/18

if they're just wrapped in bubble wrap...then yeah, that's about right.

to work out tyre diameter its 225 x .4 isnt it to equal mm devide by 25 to get inches.. then plus that to 18 would have total yeh?

63.754mm diameter...so that parcel size is the absolute smallest they'll be :)

nurb parts arent stocked at holden dealers... and you cant get vxr parts from holden either without a VIN number :p and due to holden quoted 2200 for the sri-t rims for 4 id hate to see limited edition rim pricings :p lol

You're looking at it being expensive how ever you get them. Unless you're lucky enough to find some in Aus :p

Oh and mate, how much was that steering wheel you were looking at buying? I've found one for 50 pound.

You might have better luck talking to Fast Lane. I have used them too and they are EXCELLENT!!! From Germany and UK. The quotes sound like air freight not sea freight.

If times not an issue give them a call and see if they can sort a sea shipment for you...
