I would like some ideas of what people think would look good on the Ah astra or perhaps if you have pics of ones with wheels on it feel free to post them up.

good luck getting E (ie 19" snowflakes) ;)

you have chosen different style wheels which will give off a totally different look... what look are you going for?? Euro style, race style, OEM??

Just be careful as the VXR 'look' (C) or the snowflakes (E) I think will be 19's. So if you're looking to lower as well, the ride will be pretty hard

If it was me, i'd be looking at either E or the current shadow/darker VXR rims

Are those snowflakes the rims that were optional on the AH SRi-T? Or different ones?

It's difficult to judge properly or accurately unless you put some of those 'unfamiliar' styles up against the car...that's what you should do before making a final decision :)

The familiar styles there however you would already have a good idea of what they look like on an AH...

My pick would be any of them other than 'D' - that's my least favourite from that bunch...

If your going to go to 19" then adopt the same rubber as used on the factory VXR 19's - that should cure any 'rough ride' issues !

If 'need be' the speedometer can be adjusted accordingly...

I love the VXR rims

after seeing Ain's, personally i'd stay away from wheels with a lip

Im not sure I want 19's if im going to lower it eventually...I want some ride comfort to be maintained. Im going to drive on the stockies for a while in anycase.

your right also...will have to do a bit of photoshop and spend a couple of days looking at them to make sure.

If you did want to go 19's just do the same set up (tyres/suspension/ride height) as an AH VXR and you'll have no issues...VXR's ride just fine with the 19's...see if can get yourself a spin in one and see what you think :)

Kabel has a set of Vxr springs, and maybe shocks for sale, get in contact with him.

definately wouldn't, made for a completely different car. Different weights and distribution, chasis tuning etc.

Pretty sure they're 18" OE ones (from memory they were on some TwinTop models we had here)... but as with any OE, price will be high

I vote for SRi-T wheels, 18's so tyres aren't ridiculously expensive, they match up with the car weight wise and they look unreal!!

+1 SRi-T or VXR wheel will look amazing (genuine or replicas are available in both styles)

They will give you the 'wow thats nice' and not the over done pimped/modded gay look-at-mi look.
