Welcome Steve, Very tidy SRi-T and awesome paint on a black car for its age. If you want the astra to be a little more 'fun' re-map, intake, 3" dump pipe and intercooler. It'll blow off your SS then. Which leads to my next question have you done anything to the VY, manual or auto?

Enjoy the site :)

ChrisWell you beat me to it. i'm looking at doing a remap on it. Who does it in Melbourne? and doing an upgrade on the Exhaust. I've taken the air box out and replaced it with a pod filter and in the process of doing some custom piping on each end of the intercooler. May even going a bigger cooler as well that's that future plans. As for my ute It makes 240 rwkw a with mafless tune, custom CAI, polished and honed T/B, full exhuast and Extractors, short throw rip shift and button clutch. It's ran in full street trim on a 30 degree day a [email protected].

HAHA okay maybe the astra wont keep up with it, but they arnt a slug either once you get a re-map into it.

Highly recommend getting a re-map which one of the guys on there will be able to do. Someone will to able to let you who your local tuner is.

With the intake side of things, id be removing the cross-over pipe and running a pod filter. Preferably a dry filter cotton element like the 3A racing one not an oiled type eg. K&N can muck up the MAF sensor.

The most restrictive of the exhaust are the CATs, easy and cheapest way is too remove the pre-cat and replace with a 3" dump pipe. Best bet is just get a custom one made up shouldnt cost more than $350.

The stock side mount intercooler is quite small and very inefficient best bet is to throw in a front mount. Matt (auzvectra) has a DIY kit and costs somewhere around the $1100 mark (PM him for the current price) comes with all the pipes/hoses, fittings and claps. Makes a big difference in torque.

Hope that helps, any other questions or anything just ask away :)

you'll want eibachs and a swaybar to.
make them super quik around corners, commy's and falcoons cant keet up.
with these cars, the less you need to break the better.

I've already deleted the intake pipe Chris now i'm in the process of doing the pipe from the throttle body to the cooler. I don't want a loud exhaust so a buffled 3inch rear muffler and straight through 3inch of the turbo should just be nice.
