Nope, but I can confidently say I know more and can do a much better job than most grease monkeys working at dealer service centres :p

no but when I'm finished my current stuff on the car, I think I should be able to handle servicing etc

Yes, Electronics Tech & a mechanical background does help alot. just too god damn lazy to fix my own car. :rolleyes:

You know how it is, a plumbers taps always leak etc etc...!!!;)

I'm a Boilermaker/Welder & Spraypainter, I started the Boily Apprenticeship and carried on for 2 Years. Then I started Spraypainting and did the full 4 years, Then I ended up back welding again.
Plus I have pretty good mechanical Knowledge.

I am a leccy and it helps sometimes, esp, with the ICE. Could possibly overhaul an engine if really neccessary. Can do most of my DIY's but get lazy at times.

Sheetmetal Worker by trade.

Worked as a Machanic for a few years.

Built and run 3 rally cars over the last 20 years.

Worked in IT for 10 years.

Now work for the University of QLD as a Maintanance Enginer... looking after Magnets and no not fridge magnets. Super Conductive Cryo Magnets... so like when you have a Cat Scan or MRI that sort of stuff.

I am soon geting a new workshop with a new CNC Mill and CNC Lathe which I run as well.

Yes . Completed my Apprentiship 7 years ago as a Automotive Parts Specialist . have been in my trade for 10 years this year .

Helps understanding when i book my car in and the quotes are given by dealerships to understand if they are over priced etc. Also helps gain trade or better pricing for my self over the years.
